Find your first game, offer your skills or arrange a racket service. Start with the account steps you actually need.

A hit is a tennis arrangement offered by a member at a listed venue. Find brings together Community play, Coaching and Paid hitting. Switch to Stringing for racket services. Explore helps you choose a location and see its hits, services, Updates and Watch streams.
You can browse public information before joining. Coverage starts with England, with a particular focus on Brighton & Hove and South East England; the catalogue is not a complete list of every venue or available court.
Stringing customers only need an active account with a confirmed email. You do not need an LTA claim or a playing record to request a racket service.
With a confirmed email, coaches, paid hitters and stringers can prepare public provider details and apply for provider approval straight away. Playing confirmation and venue access are checked separately before you can publish the relevant service.
With a provisional LTA claim, you can request free hits within the limits shown by the platform. You can also create one Starter Community hit at a time: one occurrence, free or with costs paid at the venue. Starter hits cannot repeat or collect online.
A request asks the organiser to review your place. Wait for acceptance and complete any required online payment before treating your place as secured. The hit and My tennis show your current next step.
Community confirmation unlocks paid-hit participation and full Community hosting. You can earn it through completed Community play or request an administrator or assigned venue manager review. Coaching and Paid hitting also need separate provider approval. See the account guide for confirmation progress and routes.
Coaches can offer individual or group learning. Paid hitters can offer dedicated practice and match play. Apply for provider approval in My tennis → Payments; you can apply before building a playing record. Stringers use the same provider application and also need access to an approved venue with Stringing enabled.
Venue managers can keep their assigned venue useful and coordinate eligible contributors. The hosting and Stringing guides explain the steps for each service.
Players and authorised venue contributors can share local Updates or external Watch streams through the relevant permission and review flows. You do not need to run a business to contribute useful local tennis information.
The organiser arranges the court; a PlayHitters place does not book it. Check the venue's rules, the session details and the named provider's information. For children, a parent or guardian must take responsibility for appropriate arrangements and supervision. Keep private contact and supervision details out of public descriptions.
