This product notice describes the data Hitters is designed to use. It must be reviewed against the final operating company and vendors before launch.
What we use
We use account and profile information to run your account, venue updates and hits. Location searches are used to return nearby results; the browser location is not stored by the search flow.
Profile and contact privacy
Public profiles can show the tennis details and social links you choose to add. Your phone number is private by default and is only revealed to accepted participants of an individual hit when you explicitly opt in for that hit.
Payments and profile pictures
Stripe processes payment and payout information; Hitters stores connected-account and transaction references, amounts and operational statuses, not card or bank details. Players pay the host through Stripe-hosted checkout and do not need a Stripe account. The host is the merchant of record. Stripe performs identity and bank checks only for users who choose to host paid hits. Profile pictures are stored in private object storage and delivered through a controlled content-delivery network.
Messages to Hitters
When you email one of our support, feedback, payment, privacy, security or safety addresses, Amazon Web Services receives and scans the message, holds the raw copy in private encrypted storage while it is forwarded, and sends a protected copy to a monitored Gmail inbox. The raw copy is deleted after a successful forward or within seven days after a failure. The forwarded copy remains in the operations inbox until it is deleted under the approved support-retention policy, which is still being finalised. Do not email card or bank details, identity documents, medical records or emergency information.
Your choices
Signed-in members can download a paginated JSON copy of their account data or request account deletion from My tennis. Deletion removes authentication, public profile and contact data and anonymises retained relational and financial history. Automated deletion of referenced media objects and closure of a connected Stripe account are not implemented, and retention durations still require approval.
